January 18-22, 2010
Serious racers from across the U.S. and around the world are heading to the southernmost part of the continental United States – beautiful, tropical Key West. Nautica is in its 8th year as the presenting sponsor of the 2010 Key West Race Week and is the official timepiece of the event. Key West Race Week is the official kick-off sailing event of the year.
Nautica will honor the opening day of races on Nautica Day, Monday, January 18, by awarding boat winners with Nautica Yachtimer analog watches. Anema & Core, a grand prix boat in the event, will sail the Nautica spinnaker for the second year in a row. At the final awards ceremony, the Boat of the Week and the International Team champions will also receive Yachtimers, and all class winners will receive a unique Nautica timepiece.
On Monday, January 18, Nautica and Oceana, a global ocean conservation organization, will host a party from 6-8pm under the Sailor’s Tent to build awareness of Oceana’s mission to protect and restore the world’s oceans.
