I know many of you may be familiar with Amazon’s original wireless reading device the “Kindle”, which does a great job for books, but what about magazines? Well the Skiff is here to save the day.
The Skiff is about the size of the Kindle, but instead of using a glass sheet for its screen it uses a metal board spun-coated with e-ink. The e-ink is what is going to differentiate the Skiff by allowing publications to keep the eye catching pieces and typographical art that we all love in printed magazines. The e-ink allows its self to mold a clear image of what was intended to print. Trust me you will soon see these in your local metro station near you!
