Key West Travel Guide

Whether you’re looking for a great adventure or a restful getaway, Key West, Florida has something for everyone. Snorkel or dive down to the only living coral reef in the continental United States. Climb the 88 steps to the observation deck of Key West’s lighthouse for spectacular views. Enjoy a day of sailing with Key West Sailing Adventures. Shop, walk and drink your way down Duval Street for an array of restaurants, bars and shops. A trip to Key West is not complete without viewing an infamous sunset at Mallory Square.

Soak Up the Sun: Swim, snorkel and sunbathe at some of the country’s best beaches. Hang with the locals at South Beach which offers a sandy beachfront with shallow waters. Enjoy a taste of old Key West at Half Shell Raw Bar, located in a breathtaking Victorian mansion on Duval Street in the heart of the historic seaport. Settle down for an informal dining experience at this authentic fish house.
Shop ‘til you Drop:  From beach wear to accessories, Sunset Waterfront Shoppes is a shopper’s paradise where visitors will enjoy a collection of unique boutiques along the water’s edge. Later, head over to Fast Buck Freddie’s which was recently named the “Southernmost Bloomingdale’s”, selling fine retail and home décor.
Best Sunset Views: Visitors and residents alike take in the sunset every evening at Mallory Square’s Dock and Hilton Pier. The celebration continues late into the night with street performers and entertainers. For stunning panoramic views and yummy cocktails stop in at The Top Lounge located at the La Concha Hotel.

The Famous Green Flash: Check out the flash of neon green that appears for a second on the upper curve of the sun just as the last final sliver dips under the horizon. Don’t blink!
