A Look at 2010 Key West Race Week

Key West 2010 was an exciting week with tough competition and excellent sailing conditions. Anema & Core provided us with great presence on the water, sailing the Nautica Spinnaker for the second year in a row. Each night the sailing teams, spectators and sponsors gathered under the Sailors Tent to celebrate the day’s triumphs and strategize for the days ahead. Wind and weather was a major concern as the Florida coastline was hit with a severe cold front only days before the start of Key West Race Week. Fortunately, beautiful weather arrived providing ideal race conditions.

Nautica Day, January 18th, kicked off the first day of Race Week with a fun celebration under the Sailors Tent. We were excited to share the evening with Oceana and emphasize their mission to save and restore the world’s oceans. Sailors and guests signed petitions, shopped Nautica Watches, drank our signature cocktail, Nautica Breeze, and enjoyed a spirited awards presentation.
