Nautica Opens First Store in Bahrain

The store features a complete lifestyle assortment and marks a step in the brand’s continued expansion into Middle Eastern territories.
The Nautica® brand recently opened its first retail store in the Middle Eastern country of Bahrain. The store is located in Bahrain City Centre, a shopping location that has gained popularity for being the country’s first mall to include an indoor/outdoor water park as well as its largest cinema complex.
Offering a complete lifestyle assortment of men’s, women’s, kids’, footwear and accessory collections, the 2,551-square-foot store features the Nautica® brand’s new WAVERIDER concept. Signature floor decking, placed on a diagonal, leads visitors into the store along a gentle curve reminiscent of the shape of a boat’s hull. Other nautical references, such as rope-strung columns, ship wheels set as abstract art and glass floats, further convey the brand’s connection to the water. Glowing water walls at the store’s front stand as a modern beacon, inviting all to enter, while a crisp white and navy color scheme provides a clean and bold setting to display product.
As a result of the brand’s success in Abu Dhabi and Dubai, Nautica has chosen to develop into territories outside the United Arab Emirates, including Bahrain, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and Qatar. A second location is scheduled to open in Bahrain by year’s end in Ramli Mall, another center that incorporates entertainment and shopping for a complete lifestyle experience.
