Andrew Cooper’s first love, music, was just a stepping stone to a wildly successful modeling career. Cooper, born in 1981 in England, had dreams of being a famous singer. After being discovered by the pop boy band Take That’s founder Nigel Martin Smith, Cooper debuted his first single, “I Feel Something,” at a fashion show in 1998. For five years little was heard from him, until his face graced the cover of Wallpaper magazine. His striking looks certainly made a splash and his career took off immediately. The October 2003 issue of the magazine was the highest selling issue to date in the publication’s history.
Cooper has worked on many high profile advertising campaigns and has built up an impressive resume working with photographers such as Mariano Vivanco, Matthew Brookes and Blair Getz Mezibov. Currently Cooper is the face of the Nautica Fall 2010 campaign and is represented by NY Models in the US.
Fun Fact: Andrew Cooper owns a boutique for dapper dogs in the Notting Hill section of London called Mutz Nutz.
