If you’re an open water swimmer or ocean conservationist, this is a race not to miss. The St. Croix Coral Reef Swim in the Virgin Islands takes place the second weekend in October and consists of a 2-mile and 5-mile swim. The Coral Reef Swims are fundraisers for the Nature Conservancy’s East End Marine Park. Last year, Olympic gold medalists Misty Hyman and Josh Davis offered a pre-race clinic. Proceeds from the $125 entry fee benefit the park. Register early as the event fills quickly!
