Events: Superbowl Weekend in Dallas - Chili and Chilly

Headed to Dallas for the Superbowl?  You may want to rethink your wardrobe, the weather at the Dome is a chilly 17 degrees which is nothing the Steelers and Packers can’t stand, but what about the fans?  Here are some of our cold weather dress tips that will help you gear up for the big day!

1).  Wear a lot of cozy layers, the more the better.  Wearing a few light to medium weight shirts and jackets will add more warmth than one heavy item.  We suggest the Nautica Bomber

2).  Don’t forget to pack long underwear – can be cotton, wool, or silk – they all do the trick and fit discreetly under a pair of jeans.

3).  For extreme temperatures forget the instant heaties for your hands and feet, and instead try a trick the Pro Players do to keep their toes warm on the coldest game days.  Rub some lotion on your feet and wrap them tightly in plastic baggies or Saran Wrap under your socks.  Once that heats up on its own, instant warmth for hours!

4).  Don’t forget to bring some warm and tasty chili to the tailgate, nothing can warm you up better than a hot cup of chili!
