I must admit when I first heard that Anna Kournikova was going to be a trainer on the Biggest Loser I was like WHAT?! She’s a tennis player and known for her PDA with her then boyfriend and now husband Enrique Iglesias, what does she know about training people? However after I met her and was able to ask her a few questions she quickly won me over and I have a feeling she is going to do the same with the millions of Biggest Loser fans. She is 100% committed to make sure that the contestants of season 12 change their lifestyles into healthy ones so that they can continue to live them. What I love most about her is that she is overly into admitting that she doesn’t have all the answers and actively into using all her resources to get them.
It was funny though because the first time I met Anna she was participating in the Nautica South Beach triathlon as was I. We were both on relay’s I swam my length in on the 1st ever Biggest Loser relay triathlon team and she was running her portion. Anna’s team dominated because not only is she a professional athlete her relay was made up of two other professional triathletes. Then I saw her in the lobby of our hotel the day before the interview I did with her and she had absolutely NO Idea who I was, which of course I found a little disheartening since she is now going to be part of the Biggest Loser world, but it was funny cause I was like “Hi Anna” as if she would remember me. However the first thing the next day before the interviews started at the press junket she came up to me in the most sincere way and apologized which she did not have to do but she was so cute 
The last time I was at the Biggest Loser campus was during season 11 when there was still 7 contestants on the ranch and I was telling them all after we did our filming before I left how I was doing the Nautica triathlons this year. They were all so excited for me and said they hoped to one day do them with me. Well guess what all you triathlete the girls of the Biggest Loser season 11 finale will be debuting their triathlon experience at the Nautica NYC TRIATHLON!!!!!!! I’m so excited for you to meet my girls, they not only are beautiful on the outside they are even more so on the inside. Let’s all cross our fingers that it turns into a gorgeous day so that Olivia, Hannah, and Irene truly understand why we all LOVE triathlon. I’m sure we will continue to see them on the circuit because I personally have never met someone not to fall in love after experiencing the day.
Take it from all of us if we can do triathlon so can YOU!
