The Conservation Society’s New York Aquarium is now selling tickets to its annual AScarium Halloween event held every weekend during the month of October. Activities at the AScarium include the 4-D Pirate movie: Curse of Skull Rock, story telling, live music and trick or treating. Be sure not to miss the main attraction at this year’s AScarium, the Haunted Sea-fari Ship. Visitors will tour the sunken ship, meet Captain Looter and his frightening crew before walking the plank! At the end of the tour as you arrive back on shore, you’ll have a chance to help save the beaches and oceans from pollution. Visitors will leave with a better understanding of how to help protect marine life and their habitats. Before you leave the aquarium, be sure to stop by and meet the new baby sea otter, Tazo, shown here with his pumpkin! The AScarium will be open October 15-16, 22-23, and 29-30 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Kids in costume get in FREE.
