If you plan on getting up early the day after Thanksgiving to start your Holiday shopping with some Black Friday deals, there are a few things we suggest you take along with your coupons and circulars. If you live in a place where the temperatures are already chilly and you plan on showing up to wait in line before the sun is up, dress in layers that you can peel off when you finally make it in to the store. In addition to dressing right, there’s some gear we suggest you pack in a bag or tote to take with you.
1. Refillable Water Bottle – Bring a refillable water bottle so you stay hydrated while waiting in line and once you’re in the store you can refill it at the water fountain.
2. Flashlight / Light up Gadget- If you show up when it’s still dark out, you may want to bring a flashlight and a gadget that lights up and can keep you busy. If you have an iPad there’s a number of things you can do with that from watching videos to playing with your apps.
3. E-Reader – If you love to read, bring your e-reader so you can still see while you’re waiting outside in the dark.
4. Portable Game System – If you are a gamer, bring along your Nintendo DS or other system to keep you busy.
5. Snack- Along with your gadgets, bring a snack in an eco-friendly container since you won’t want to lose your place in line to grab a bite to eat.
