The Fashion Crew: How to Layer Under Tailored

Being in the throws of winter, we all need to make sure to bundle up to keep warm and avoid the flu.  For men, just because you are wearing a suit, doesn’t mean you can’t pile on the clothes.  Sweater vests and v-neck sweaters are great layering options to wear over a button-down and won’t cause bulkiness.  To add a little flair to your outfit, you can invest in a patterned vest or a colored sweater and wear it over a printed button down.  Mixing and matching patterns is a great look, if done correctly.  Check out the Nautica brand’s argyle v-neck sweater vest in grey.  The argyle print is subtle and can be worn over a checked or plaid shirt.  Also, Nautica has a great 12-gauge v-neck sweater that comes in a variety of colors, like heather blue, black, navy, and oatmeal heather and is perfect over a classic pinstripe or basic patterned shirt.
