Good Gear & Gadgets: Dyson Hot Space Heater

Dyson

If your heating system is unpredictable or if you are looking for an economical way to keep an area of your home warmer then the rest of the house, try keeping warm during these chilly months with the Dyson Hot space heater. The space age look of the heater does not feel cumbersome in a room, because of the open design of the heat-transmitting ring. The air is sucked in at the base and emitted from the oscillating ring on the top. There are no fan blades and no exposed heating units, so it does not emit a burning smell that is often common with space heaters. It comes with a remote control and not only oscillates, but can also tilt forward and backward to direct the warm air. During the warm months of the year, it doubles as a cool air fan so you do not have to worry about storing it away in the summer. It retails for around $400.
