The Super Bowl is considered by many, the greatest annual sporting event held in the United States.  There is no doubt that Super Bowl XLVI will be anything short of thrilling. Four years after what many consider the best finish in Super Bowl history, the Giants and Patriots are facing off once again, this Sunday, February 5 in Indianapolis.  In 2008, with New England undefeated and having beaten New York in the regular-season finale, the Patriots were 12-point favorites. The spread now is 3, and the Giants beat the Patriots during the regular season.  The Patriots (15-3) have won 10 straight games and the Giants (12-7) have five consecutive victories.

Now if you’re not a football aficionado, there are still plenty of reasons to tune into this year’s Super Bowl.  Madonna is set to take stage for the Half Time Show performance and word has it that the set includes top hits including, “Ray of Light”, “Music” and “Vogue”.  It has also been reported that LFMAO and Nicki Minaj will be joining Madonna on stage.

Kick-off is scheduled for 6:30pm ET on NBC.
